Hello and welcome to the Official website/blog for “The SteamWorld Chronicles”, a new world co-created by Mike Scigliano and myself. There are going to be a lot of firsts that will be experienced by our whole crew during the process of making this first 3-issue series (more on that later). Personally, it will be my first published writing project. While it will not be Mike’s first go around, it will his first time co-writing a project. It will be Ben’s (pencils) first comics project (hard to believe, right?) It will be the first time I work with guys outside my close friends to create something like this. I have some inking experience, so I’ve worked on other projects, but always with people I knew really well. Before this project, I’d never met Adam (colors) before. We were hooked up through John (letters). As of SDCC this year, I’ve now had the chance to speak with all the guys in person, who will work so hard to make this book a success and something we can be really proud of. I’m not so sure about firsts for John. He’s an incredibly awesome letterer with piles of DC books under his belt. If you’re a regular comics reader, you’ve seen his work.
It’ll be the first time he works with US, so, I guess that will have to do.

Mike and I have been kicking around the comic/toy industry for a number of years We have talked about all the things that annoy us about comics and how we would make them if we ever did.

Well, time to put up or shut up.

I hope that once we get this first 3-issue chapter finished, which will introduce a number of key characters to our universe, that we will be successful in getting and holding your interest enough to want us to continue.
We have big plans for this world and we have lots of room so, we’d love to have you along for the ride.
